The Poteet Strawberry Festival® is one of the oldest, most popular events in the state of Texas. It is recognized as the largest agricultural festival in the state as well as one of the most exciting, dynamic festivals in the Greater Southwest.

Held annually in April, the festival has fourteen areas of continuous entertainment featuring concerts with nationally known Country Western and Tejano stars, gunslingers, clowns, puppets, regional bands, various contests, and rodeo performances. There is something for the whole family.

Strawberry Festival Wins Awards! PSFA delegates recently attended a convention in Corpus on July 7-10 for the TFEA (Texas Festivals and Events Association). This is an organization that we are a member of that promotes Festival and events and offers education and up to date information to assist these events. While there, we took classes and won several awards including: Best Social Media Site, Best Event Photograph, Best Single Display Ad, Best Sponsor Solicitation Video,  Best Mascot and Best Commemorative Poster. We are pleased to share them with you!
