The Sahawe Indian Dancers are made up of members of Boy Scout Troop 81 in Uvalde. This troop began dancing in the 1950’s and is now led a former member, Bill Dillahunty. The boys research and create their own costumes and perform such dances at the Taso Hoop Dance, Kiowa Was Dance, Chippawa Feather Dance, and the spectacular Pueblo Comanche Dance. You can marvel at their ability on the Mahatma Rice Stage #12.
