LITTLE JOE Y LA FAMILIA
Little Joe y La Familia is one of the most popular Tex-Mex bands in the music industry. Born Jose Maria DeLeon Hernandez, Little Joe has been entertaining for more than 40 years and has been described as the "King of the Brown Sound." He also helped pioneer "Tejano" music, a mix of traditional norteno music and country, blues and rock styles.
Nearly five decades and over fifty albums later, Little Joe is still touring the world, trailblazing, looking forward to new challenges, breaking down cultural barriers, and innovating his musical style. Little Joe y La Familia just won the Grammy Award for Best Tejano Album with Before the Next Teardrop Falls. The Strawberry Festival is proud to present this legend in concert on Saturday, April 12, at 11:00 PM at the BUD LIGHT - VFW Pavilion.
LOS TOVARES
LOS TOVAREZ will be the opening for Little Joe beginning at 8:00 PM. They were formed from a band of brother who had a love for Tejano and Conjuncto music. Their followers have come to expect a good variety of excellent sounding music. Be on hand to experience

MARCOS OROZCO y GRUPO REBELDE
Marcos Orozco began his career as lead vocalist for Los Fabulosos Cuatro and later joined Poteet's own David Lee Garza y Los Musicales before forming his own band. Marcos Orozco y Grupo Rebelde, achieved their goal by winning the Most Promising Band at the 24th Tejano Music Awards. They will be performing Friday in the Bud Light-VFW Pavilion at 9:00 PM until midnight.
Pochimex, a group of young but seasoned musicians, will open for Marcos Orozco from 6:30 until 8:00 PM on the Bud Light Stage. They specialize in crowd-pleasing cumbias and racheras.
Closing out the Bud Light stage on Sunday at 7:30 PM will be Elio Quintanilla y Los Tall Boys. This year marks their 35th anniversary of traveling different musical roads to arrive at their own distinctive prgressive conjunto sounds.
