KENNETH STEPHENS OPEN FIDDLE CONTEST

Fiddler

All fiddlers young and old are invited to come to Coors Stage #10 on Saturday, April 12, from Noon until 5:00 p.m. to compete in an old-fashioned, open fiddle contest. The Fisk Family will be assisting Mark Hoffman coordinate the event in remembrance of our old friends, Dave Fisk and Kenneth Stephens. They will be four age divisions with the winners receiving trophies as well as cash prizes.

2-U-NEEK

2-U-Neek members are twins Ashley and Ashton of San Antonio, Texas. Together they have opened for major acts like BOW BOW, 3LW, Jagged Edge and more. Their old school/new school sound is pleasing audiences from SA to H Town to Atlanta, California and other markets as well. They are high energy but can take it down and they appeal to various age groups. They are turning heads wherever they go.

MOTION CENSUS

This Alternative rock band from San Marcos, TX will bring its high energy performance to the Poteet Strawberry Festival on Coors Stage #10 Lions/Rotary Pavilion on Saturday, April 12, from 8:00 – 9:00 PM.

CORD

This southern-influenced rock band is often compared to the likes of Jakob Dylan (Wallflowers), Chris Mann (Coldplay), and Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters). Cord will bring their style of music to the Poteet Strawberry Festival on Saturday, April 12, Coors Stage # 10 Lions/Rotary Pavilion.

BURL ELLISON & NOSTALGIA

Nostalgia has been working together since 2005 and performing in various clubs and restaurants in the San Antonio area. We are glad to have them this year at the Poteet Strawberry Festival on Sunday, April 13 on Coors State #10 Lions/Rotary Pavilion.

IRVING MOORE JAZZ BAND

The Irving Moore Jazz Band will be performing at the Poteet Strawberry Festival on Saturday, April 12 on the Coors Stage #10 Lions/Rotary Pavilion.

CONJUNTO MOTIVO HERMANS MARTINEZ

Poteet Strawberry Festival presents Conjunto Motivo Hermanos Martinez on Sunday, April 13, from Noon until 2:00 PM. This band is a fan favorite and they have been performing together since 1996. Festival guests will be delighted by this band’s style of music which is rich in tradition and has grown in popularity nationally and internationally.

THE BACKWOODS BAND

The Backwoods Band is a quintet of four singers which plays original country shuffles and ballads. They will be performing at the Poteet Strawberry Festival on Coors Stage #10 Lions/Rotary Pavilion on Sunday, April 13, from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
