Linda and I have been growing strawberries in Poteet since 1978 and are currently the largest producer in the area with 15 acres. We have continued the family tradition of growing strawberries which was started by Linda's dad, Kenneth Hoffman, who began raising strawberries in the early 1950's.

Linda and I have won numerous awards for our strawberries at the annual Poteet Strawberry Festival including 4 Grand Champions and 7 Reserve Grand Champions which include Grand Champions for the last three years. We also furnish H.E.B. with the strawberries for their delicious "Poteet Strawberry" specialty ice cream.
